- Somehow, completely under my radar, the original Days of the New lineup has reunited and completely melted down, or at least frontman Travis Meeks, who has a substantial history of drug addiction, has. While onstage recently bassist Jesse Vest grabbed the mike from an incoherent Meeks and announced an end to the reunion. Meeks reportedly remained onstage for a period, roamed the audience and yelled at merchandise vendors. Geez. More on the attempted reunion here.
- Did you know Guns N' Roses Use Your Illusion I & II, released in 1991, released singles and videos for three years through 1994 with both albums eventually being certified 7x Platinum in 1997? Appetite was certified 18x Platinum - in 2008!
