Metallica has had their say over the last few days concerning "final tours", being the first metal band to headline Glastonbury, despite an online petition to have them removed because Hetfield is narrating the bear hunting series "The Hunt" on what is left of the History Channel, and having the first metal band to headline not being a British band (well who's fault is that Glastonbury??). Iron Maiden doesn't want to play your festival anyways.....
- Hetfield calls out KISS and The Scorpions on launcing "farewell tours" and then rescinding here.
- He did leave out Priest - as you can see from the shirt below they were the ones questioning the British band thing.....
