- Judas Priest has announced a US tour - remember the last tour they announced? The one that would be their last "tour", the one that K.K. Downing called them on and left the band.
- They are playing at the Allen Event Center - the same place I saw them on their final tour, and we left early because the sound was so bad if you didn't know the words you were screwed.
- Here's the deal - they didn't say they were done playing live, ala their appearance at the Fun, Fun, Fun Fest in Austin later this year. But they did say they were done "touring".
- AND of course I have tickets to Motley Crue's "Final Tour" in a few weeks at Starplex.
- In the department of non final tours - Phil Collins has donated his extensive Alamo artifacts collection, thought to be the largest held by an individual, to a Texas museum. I can't find exactly which museum but nevertheless, he stated it might as well not be in his basement and be where everyone can appreciate it.
