- Nirvana's Nevermind is celebrating it's 20th anniversary including a deluxe re-issue with some bonus material. In addition there are numerous tributes and re-broadcasts happening, too many to list here......there is a certain group of people out there who call them overrated or I was never a fan of their music etc. I call BULLSHIT! Anyways like them or not they were the last big thing to happen to rock music.
- Guns' N Roses (or Axl and a bunch of other guys) has a fall tour planned including a Dallas date-I believe last time they tried this they didn't make it to Dallas.
- Blackie Lawless and the gang are planning on a 30th anniversary tour with three sets. W.A.S.P. was the first band I ever saw in concert, opening for Iron Maiden.
- The remaining members of Queen are organizing their own tribute band!?!
- Today is the anniversary of Bob Marley's final on stage performance in 1980.
