- Richie Havens ashes will be spread over Yasgur's Farm - the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival.
- Cowboy Jack Clement has passed on to the Sun Studios in the Sky. He had been hosting a Saturday show on XM, which I would catch occasionally, but his accolades include producing "Ring of Fire" and discovering Jerry Lee Lewis, among many other achievements.
