- Tragedy struck America this week on two ends of the nation. The Boston Marathon bombings and the fertilizer plant explosion in the iconic town of West, TX have shook the nation. I have never been in the northeast but have visited the Czech stop in West more times than I can remember.
- The UK Meat Loaf final tour is not going well with several shows being canceled due to health issues.
- The Stone Roses set at Coachella did not go well with the majority of the crowd leaving before they hit the stage. I am not sure what promoters were thinking by putting them in the headline slot for such a huge event. The Stone Roses have a cult following in America and I am not sure they could even pull of an arena tour in the U.S. - I will certainly be in attendance if they ever make it here however.
- In between the Main St. Arts Festival and the Untapped brewfest there is quite a bit of live music in Funkytown this weekend.
- Want the Suicidal Tendencies Holy Grail set? It will set you back a mere $3500 on ebay.
- For something a little more in line with your budget you can snag a "For Boston" shirt being promoted by the Dropkick Murphy's with all proceeds going to victims and families affected by the bombing. They have currently raised $100,000.00 and climbing. Better get them before they are gone....
